i know this might sound like a stupid question, but i was wondering if someone could explain what exactly COB is and the process involved, thanks

COB (Continuous Open Bidding), also known as COR (Continuous Open Recruitment), also known as informal: A (more or less) unstructured rush held at any time other than during formal rush by sororities that are not at ceiling and would like to pledge more women.

If you search through some posts in the Rush forum, you can see more detailed information regarding COR/COB as many GCers here have received bids because of it.
