Extra Badge for sale?
I know there are a lot of us out there that get very annoyed when we see AGD badges for sale on ebay, but I am hoping that one of you bought an extra one off of the auction. If anyone has an extra badge (with pearls preferably), I am desperately searching for one to purchase as a gift for one of my favorite fellow alums. Her pin was lost on our way to our alum "Alpha Gam Always" event and ever since she has been devastated. We are planning our trip to convention this summer and I would love to give her a new badge before hand. She made an inquiry with our closest collegiate chapter only to find out that she would need to order at initiation time (late fall). Unfortunately that makes it pretty much out of the question for getting it here before convention.
Please let me know if you can help me out (PM me or add to this thread). AGDLynn can verify that I am truly an AGD sister. Lynn - this is Jill from the Atlanta Alum Chapter - the pin is for Abby. She doesn't get on this website, so I think my gift will still be secret.

You don't have to order through a chapter, you can go straight to IHQ. Also and this is unfornuate, there are always badges for sell on ebay and most are really very nice. I would rather a sister in need buy a badge then someone who doesn't understand the meaning.

What a coincidence!! I was dropping by to tell you about a lovely AGD badge that just went up for auction on Ebay, Item number: 3902280590

It is a 1937 PEARL pin from your Alpha chapter at Syracuse. Maybe this would fit the bill! I don't have anything to do with the sale, just wanted to tell you it was there to keep it from going to a non-member.

I've said it once and I'll say it again... I want to be like Susan one day... you are so awesome for doing all this on your own. We all talk about doing it as a group but you are so proactive to just do it. Susan you deserve the ALPHA GAM PRESEVER OF THE BADGE AWARD!!!
I had been wondering if you keep the badges as gifts to sisters or if you were in fact returning them to IHQ!
