Post Human Trafficking - The Girls Next Door

While on the LiveJournal site, I randomly came across an article on human trafficking/slave trade.

Read it.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you live in one of the countries that commonly have that problem.

There are still a lot of sick people in our own country kidnapping, raping and killing young girls. I have worked with juvenile offenders - rapists and murders - and I know those sick b*st@rds were released once they turned 18 and are on the streets of my town now. When the only remorse you can get out of a kid for killing someone is "I'm sorry I got caught"... yeah, I do still worry about it in the good old USA.

Yeah but you will just aive yourself ulcers. You can just take the common precautions without being to anal . . . if its going to happen, honestly you are just unlucky. Much like lightning striking. Very rare, but sucks when it does.

I don't think overprotective necessarily equals anal. No, there is no way to prevent it if it is going to happen. Yes, precautions are important. But don't tell me not to worry about my kids just because I don't live in a country where it commonly happens...it happens here too.

Worry all you like, it doesn't help . . thats what i am saying. The same advice you would give your kids. You plan and then stop worrying
