I have accepted a position...
It is with great excitement that today, I have accepted the position of High Pi of the Lambda Chi colony at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). The expansion team was very persuasive in their efforts to recruit me for the position. I had never seen myself as advisor material, but Bill Craft, Brian Stone, Kip Zurcher, my zeta brothers and KillarnyRose, Tom Earp, justamom and LXAAlum were more than confident in my ability to do the job. I am thankful and humbled by their faith in me.
This is a great opportunity and I am honored the fraternity chose me for the position. The challenges are many. I have no experience with colonies. I am fortunate that there is a tremendous Alumni Advisory board set up and a strong Alumni Association here in the city. While I do not know how long of a commitment I can make to these men, I hope that while I am their High Pi, both they and I grow from the experience. I look forward to the journey ahead.

WAHOO Bro. Even though we talked last night, I am very excited for your new journey with LXA and something fresh such as a New Colony!
With your Dedication, Heart, and Love, I have no doubt that you will do fine.
Anytime you need an ear or shoulder, feel free to give me a shout! I am sure the same goes for all of the Brothers here. Try LXAAlum as UNC was just recharted or Bill Foltz who is HP to A Z.
In ZAX,

Just a High Pi Wannabe
Gents: To say that I'm the High Pi at Boston is a tad off the mark. First of all, that disses Eric Berger, who represents that august institution with poise and professionalism.
I'm not even in the running for the position at my own alma mater, Illinois State. Living 3 hours away sort of takes me out of the picture (I live closer to Wisconsin-Whitewater than ISU). That's why I help Northwestern, too, since they're only 45 minutes from my house near the WI border.
However, I plan to attend next week's New High Pi conference on behalf of the Beta-Omicron Alumni Assn. so we can get a better handle on what the position entails. I'm looking forward to actually meeting some of the folks who write here on a regular basis.
ZAX,
Bill Foltz

Sorry, No I am not coming - it was too short of a notice. I only accepted the position last week and I gave my word to the president of the San Antonio Alumni Association that I would help him with the alumni reception after IMPACT.
Will be at the next one tho - definately at GA this summer.
