Bid Day Shirt Question!

Question: do most groups on your campus give stitched letters, screen print, or like a themed design shirt?
Or something w/ group name spelled out?

Here @ Kent all houses give stitched/block/jersey letters with a cute quote or saying on the back.

ours are all screen printed with a theme for the day. Last year we did "Sigmafia, once you're in the family, you stay in the family...faithful unto death" our day was so cute! we had plastic fedora's we wore and gave to all our new members with gift bags with playing cards and water guns. then we had everyone line up on the stairs and one by one the new members went down with their heart sister and sat across the dining room table from the president who said to them "I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse" then passed a t-shirt over to the new member and they got a pic snapped and we all cheered. It was hilarious! then we had a big Italian "family style" dinner at the house before bid day retreat. One of the benefits of a quota of 11!!!! it would take forever if you were at ole miss!!

Sororities almost always made up screen-printed bid day shirts for our new members. For the two NPC orgs that don't allow NMs to wear letters, the org's name would be spelled out; for the other three orgs, it could go either way (letters or spelled out). And there would be a cute slogan. We usually gave them a bunch of other goodies too.

Some fraternities gave their pledges stitched letters; others gave them screen-printed shirts.

I have an awesome screen printed shirt for my bid day last Spring. Our new member education chair designed it on powerpoint, and it's just awesome.

At Nebraska, all the bid day shirts for the sororities are screen printed, as are all the rush shirts for the fraternities (since there's no bid day for us.) All have some sort of quote or slogan on them.

Everyone at Western IL University did screenprint...I have to admit that one of the cutest ones I saw was Sigma's the year I rushed:

The Top Three Reasons I Rushed:
1. Sigma
2. Sigma
3. Sigma

My Bid Day shirt is the Mastercard logo and says "Our Sisterhood is Priceless" (it was cute, but kinda cheesy)
