Music Questions
I am establishing this thread for anyone who has questions about music. Cant think who sings a song, etc...
OK mine is...
What song does Good Charlotte sing? I heard thier new song today on the radio, but do they have another older one?
I was watching the new Pearl Jam DVD and he was talking shit about them. I couldn't remember what they sang. he said "Their good but it sounds like a popsicle that's been stuck up someone's ass....maybe some people are into that."
I thought it was hilarious.

most recently they've had hits with the songs "lifestyles of the rich & famous" and "the anthem". before they were really mainstream they were featured in the movie "not another teen movie" as the band during the prom scene. they have done some great 80s covers like "footloose" and "if you leave"

They also have a new one out called "Hold on" that's about sucide. The video has clips of people who have lost loved ones to suicide and what they went/are going through. The message (anti-suicide) is good, but their music is mediocre and kind of generic punk/rock.

The first song they released on the radio that made it was "Little Things." Actually, now that I think about it, that song might not have made it everywhere. I'm from the same area as them, and the radio stations might have gone crazy playing it, so that might be why I know it.

Chris Rock called them a "mediocre Green Day" at last year's MTV awards. I think that about sums it up.

I stood like 5 feet away from Benji at the Alkaline Trio show in November at the 9:30 Club in DC. He wasn't wearing all that crazy make-up, in fact he looked pretty normal. My ex-boyfriend is from Waldorf (where Good Charlotte is from) and said they weren't the poor losers they make themselves out to be. They had a van. They played baseball.

Okay, this is a question about a song that was about 2 summers ago.....but the group is like POD or Puddle of Mud or something P, I think. But there's a lyric in this one song that says "I like the way you smack my a**" . The song is supposed to be about an anti-ex. So, any clue? This is bugging me!

Great song to sing aloud when you're about to go out.

Do any of you belong to Columbia House or any of those CD services? Do you like it? Are there a lot of strings attached? I'm considering joining one.

I don't but one of my friends did it. They said it wasn't a bad deal...they just ran out of choices to get after a while...I think they don't have all of them available or something.
