What Does Your Gc Name Mean? Why Did You Choose It?
I thought this might be a fun topic to get everyone's comments on...but I am curious about some of y'all's GC "handles" -- for instance, everytime I see a post by breathesgelatin I get this image of someone with jello in their nose!! I can't help it --it makes me chuckle...and wonder...does she really like gelatin that much or what
So how about everyone saying why they have the GC handle they do -- what it means, etc and also name other GCers you are curious to hear from about why they have the handle they do...
Mine is an obvious one...I am a GFB and I am a retired USAF LtColonel....
...next?

I'm a Cuban nun.
Actually, the handle comes from an Urge Overkill song entitled "Sister Havana." It is one of my favorite songs, plus it also figures into a long-running joke among my friends.

Mine may sound like I think I'm a hotty or something...but it's actually comes fom my school. Hotty Toddy is our school's "chant"
You know how Alabama says "Roll Tide", Auburn says "War Eagle", and Arkansas says "Pig Sooey" Well Ole Miss says "Hotty Toddy" The full chant goes:
Are you Ready?
Hell yeah! Damn Right!
Hotty Toddy! Gosh amighty!
Who the hell are we? Hey!
Flim Flam! Bim Bam!
Ole Miss by damn!
not a real creative handle I know..ahh well. I am surprised at how many people don't realize where my handle comes from.

My name is my favorite character from a book by Piers Anthony. Mare Imbrium first appeared as a minor role in Ogre, Ogre and had a major role in the following book in the Xanth series called Night Mare. She was actually a female horse (mare) who was originally had the job of giving everyone nightmares (hence the occupation of Night Mare). Then later on she turned into a daymare which is a horse giving daydreams. Imbrium means Sea of Rain (Latin I think).

Mullets....hmmm, are you talking mullets the fish or mullets the hairstyle?
Seriously, when I was stationed at Hurlburt Field in Ft Walton Beach FL, there was an annual event called the Billy Bowlegs Festival...the beauty queen contest/pageant they had every year was the MISS MULLET contest and it was NOT a joke!
How would you like to be Miss Mullet????? Ack!!
I like the name Geoff too by the way...in fact, there are three Geoff's I knew right now here in Peachtree City GA!
Rachel -- you said you 'wanted' to go to USC; where do you go?
