You've just found two briefcases with $15 million . . .

and all the money is legit (not drug money or anything that can be traced)

After securing the money, I would run to the local mall in the nude and yell "I'm the Million Dollars Man!!!"

ETA:

-I would also hold my own music festival
-Put about 4 million in the bank and live of the interest
-Invest the rest.

I would by myself a nice house with nice furniture to go in it. I then fly myself to NYC to go shopping at all the high-end boutiques and department stores. I would wear these clothes while I took a two month long European vacation.

I would also donate a bunch of money to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (in the name of Zeta Tau Alpha ) and I would donate it to women's shelters.

$15 million, tax free?

1) Tithe.
2) Give a couple mill to both my mama & my brother.
3) Build the house/condo of my dreams & furnish.
4) Donate to a few charities (ie: Ronald McDonald House, ADPi Foundation, Greater Good, etc).
5) Get a newer car.
6) Invest the rest.

Oh, and ROAD TRIP to WORLD CUP 2006!!!!!

The first thing that I'm doing is taking a trip to the Cayman Islands to set up my bank account.

I'll figure everything out after that.

Assuming that there's no way to determine who the "rightful" owner of the money is... and considering that possession is nine-tenths of the law...

1. Pay off my mortgage... or better yet, get a bigger house closer to NYC
2. Pay off my husband's student loans (if he asks very nicely )
3. Make some charitable contributions - my temple, AEPhi Foundation, etc.
4. Take a leave of absence from work and take a trip around the world with my husband
5. Get a summer cottage somewhere
6. Invest whatever's left - which should hopefully be most of it.

I wouldn't quit my job - I'd go crazy not working

Naturally, go to Disney World!

Really, I'd set up a nice Swiss bank account. Then I'd buy lots of Tiffany tag necklaces and Coach mini logo purses to outfit all the non-Northshore girls who attend Marquette.

I would buy or build a big, beautiful house in the tropics and have fun there. I would do the same in NYC.

Go on a very relaxing vacation somewhere tropical-
Invest
Quit my job, only to take the time to look for the perfect job.
Enjoy life.
