Oh No I Didn't!

Yes, I used the past few days to not only fast, but to stand in the gap with prayer not for this board, but for the hearts, minds, and spirits of ALL who come to GreekChat to put aside the "busy-ness" of their day and just hang out with like minds...whether they have letters or not.

Contrary to what it may have seemed, I didn't broadcast my decision to fast as a "Hey Everybody, Look What I'm Doing", rather it was done to take a stand for an ending to the whirl-wind of chaos, pandemonium, and confusion that has seem to rear its head these past four months.

No, I didn't broadcast my fasting to seek attention, yet I didn't do it in secret because just like I am NOT ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make not apology for it, I am not ashamed of proclaiming a time of fasting to deny myself of something I enjoy and use that time to get in the presence of our LORD to humble myself, pray, and turn from MY wicked sinful ways so that HE might hear from heaven and turn situations, hurts, misunderstandings, anger and tohu bohu around!

VictoriaSecret, I've been accused by you (and I quote it only to avoid confusion),
"and now...i get to add a devil from the pit of hell according to shalom...so you do the math."
In all my postings on both the Alpha Kappa Alpha board and the Delta Sigma Theta board, I have never referred to anyone as the devil.
I know full well that no one is the devil, he is a fallen angel, not a human created in GOD's image. I would never call anyone the devil, the enemy, satan, or any of the names given him to reference a human being. I do know that the WORD says we don't wrestle against flesh and blood (people) but against principalities in the spiritual realm. I do know principalities/powers can and do influence us and can be used to do damage through us when we are down and don't have our guard up.

I also know that anyone, MYSELF FIRST and FOREMOST can be used, pumped, pimped, tricked and lulled into confusion because he (the enemy), is the author of just that---confusion. Know this, I would never insult you or anyone else in such a manner as that; however, I apologize to you for interpretting my words to become name calling. As a minister of the Faith, a sister and a Greekchat sisterfriend, I offer you a sinere apology for you being put into the catorgory of the enemy and his co-horts.
In this misquoting of myself, I know GOD will vindicate.

You also asked me to think about this, (again, I quote to reduce confusion), "p.s. shalom...if this is so true...have you ever noticed how certain glo's hardly ever have trouble on their boards...just a thought."

Honestly---No, I don't because I mainly read the AKA & DST boards, sometimes I read the Chit Chat board and on rare occasions I've read the General Board (because it's for Greeks and I'm a GDI...it's none of my business). However, I will say this from my personal experiences in both ministry and on my secular professional job...it doesn't matter who you are, Saved (Christian) or not, big organization or small, pretty or ulgy...the enemy hates it when PEOPLE come together in unity for GOOD. No group goes or will go without an attack from the enemy if GOOD is in it...eventually, he'll find a way to sneak in and reak havoc. My position is this one, as long as I visit GreekChat, I will take it as a personal assignment of ministry to pray for each and everyone I feel or sense a need for prayer because bottom line is this---Cyberspace Isn't Void Of Relationship-Hardships, and we all need someone willing to stand in the gap and pray for us, lift us up or hand us a word of encouragement when life is beating us up!

VictoriaSecret, Sister, I pray you Shalom-Peace for all you've gone through in the past that has caused your heart to be troubled. I pray you grace to walk in the newness of HIS mercies, I pray you favor, that the LORD of Host will open doors for you that seemed closed, I pray you understanding for it heals the heart that so much wants to be understood and not rejected, lastly, I pray you LOVE because you are deserving of it just because CHRIST says it's yours!

I only did so not to keep stuff going...because it has ended, but to let VictoriaSecret know that my heart, words, or declarations that flow out of me are never intended to put anyone down.
