KAZAA LITE!! Where do I get it?
I know Kazaa lite has been discussed before, but I have a completely different question.
Where the heck can I download it without having to pay for it?? I have it on my home computer, downloaded maybe two years ago for free and it still works. I am looking to add it to my current lap top but I can't seem to find a site wich will let me download it for free. HELP!

Oh how funny - I was just going to post this same request!
My computer recently got the Microsoft version of Ebola - everything exploding in a very messy way. Fortunately I have a guy friend who could be a computer hacker and he helped me - we had to reformat the whole hard drive. I was able to keep most of my documents but lost all the programs. So I've been reinstalling stuff but can't find kazaa lite anymore.
Side note: scariest error message I've ever seen:
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close."
Windows Explorer is the program that navigates your way through your whole computer! And it would NOT work on my computer! Try doing anything without it - it's an adventure.
Seriously though, any assistance relocating kazaa lite would be much appreciated. The regular kazaa has all that spyware crap and no way in h*ll am I putting that on my computer.

Um, I just did a search for it and registered. I had to PAY for mine, but that's because it's the newer version...and I love it. I get MORE searches, they're faster, and more successful!

I'm a bit weary of having to pay for Kazaa Lite. Not only is it a free program, giving your information makes you that much more traceable.

You should just be able to Google for Kazaa Lite K++ which is my favorite version - that's what I did and it works fine.

How long ago was that? That is the one I have on my home computer and I love it. I can't seem to find ANY free versions of Kazaa Lite through google.

I don't mind paying...I mean I paid like $35 for unlimited requests for an unlimited time. I dunno about the adware part though because I'm still getting frustrated pop-up ads...but that's cuz I have a cabel modem

A couple months ago...I will ask my techie friend where to get it from, I'm sure he'll know. Basically K++ makes you look like a superuser - so you get free unlimited downloads and free unlimited searching. I would never ever pay for it - really, you've got trackable proof you were downloading a program that most people use to engage in illegal activity.

Try Bearshare! The free version is ad-supported, but the adware can be removed using Ad-Aware

umm, well, how about this...is there anyone out there who has:
1. A fast internet connection
2. the installer .exe file for Kazaa Lite K++ (you're right - that's the best version)
3. the willingness to email the file to a couple GC people
???
Anyone want to be our File Sharing Good Samaritan? For noncopyrighted works only, of course! Actually, I tend to download tv shows waaaay more than music these days - too much of the music out there is junk quality, or it's purposely messed up versions put out there. I've got .mpg versions (that's the type you can burn on a VCD and play on most DVD players) of the last two seasons of Friends if anyone wants them.

I dunno about that ... I had Bearshare on my old computer, and it installed so much spyware junk on my computer! I finally uninstalled it and ran this high-powered spyware finder and I still don't know if I found it all!
