Songs from Undergrad

I really believe there is a thread with this theme somewhere, but I didn't find it.

What songs remind you of your college days?

1997-2001:

Get F-ed Up, Iconz (I actually don't know if this came out then, but it reminds me so much of school)
Hot Boys, Missy
Hoy Boys & Girlz, Master P
Bout It, Master P (the basketball team loved this song in 97-98 for some reason)
U Owe Me, Ginuwine
That's What I'm Looking For, Da Brat (this was my song in a hair show on campus)
No Matter What They Say, Lil Kim
Hard Knock Life, Jay-Z (my mom called me at 8:30 on a Saturday morning when she first heard it....she was amazed)

Okay R. you are making me show my age, but here you go:

Ooh Child - Five Stairsteps
The Still Waters Album - The Four Tops
Bridge Over Troubled Waters - (Simon and Garfunkel?)
Summertime - blanking on artist
The Cloud Nine Album - the Temptations
Anything by Funkadelic/Parliament
Grazing in the Grass - Hugh Masakela
The first two Earth Wind and Fire albums
Light My Fire - Doors
Gloria - blanking on artist
Inda Gada De Vida (?) which I always thought they were trying to say In the Garden of Eden. And I am stil not sure what was being said.

There are more but the affects of the psychadelic era is wearing on me.

I think ladygreek and I must be of the same vintage.

The first one I thought of was "Midnight at the Oasis" and I don't even like that song. We called it "Midnight after you're wasted" which was probably much more appropriate for my crowd.

The only ones that come to me off the top of my head are "Smooth" and "The Ketchup Song" - but that's only because we had band/drumline stuff we used those songs for. I didn't have much time for pop music, I was too busy studying classical.

Oh absolutely - I started laughing just reading those. There's also "Juicy," "American Pie" (took the T out to the mixer but the mixer was dry...), "Pianoman," and "Santeria," both because we could just turn the music off and everyone would belt them out.

ETA: KSigRC and I are pledge brothers, hence the co-sign.
