They really are cute!!

There's a house near me, and they have a massive white marble lion on each side of their driveway, with blue trim! I often think that it would be cool to get the local chapter out there in the early fall (with Santa hats on, of course!) and take a group picture for the annual Christmas card!

I just love lions!

A.C. Moore (a craft store nearby... I know they're a chain, but I don't know where else they are...) has the CUTEST little beanie baby-type lions for $1.50!!
I bought them out today... good gifts for sisters

That's a great idea to keep little gifts on hand- you never know when you'll need to spread your ADPi sparkle!

Thank you - bless you! - for making me giggle!! I have a few Mikasa china candy dishes with violets that I've picked up on ebay for the odd dollar or two with just that thought in mind!!

I went to Albertson's (grocery/pharmacy type place..I'm not sure where else they are regionally) the other day and they have gigantic Alphies for 19.99!!! They are the biggest cuddliest lions I have ever seen!

We have Albertson's out here in Cali...but there's the huge grocery strike going on out here right now, and seeing as how my step-dad is a union member (for another type of union), our family is forbidden from crossing the picket line, so no Albertson's for us until the strike is over
