The Surreal Life

Did anyone check out this show on the WB last night? It's the new reality show featuring 7 "celebrities" picked to live in a house....... I want to hear views from other people who watched it. For those of you who didn't, here are the stars....

Corey Feldman: He's dreamy!
MC Hammer: I didn't know he's a minister now.
Emmanuel Lewis: aka Webster
Gabriella Carties(sp?): She was Andrea on 90210
Vince Neil: That's right.....the lead singer from Poison
Brande someone: She was a Playboy bunny or something like that.
Jerri: From Survivor in Australia.

Actually, Vince Neil was the lead singer of Motley Crue! Which somehow makes it even worse to me because they were supposed to be badasses...

My roommies and I were watching it after having some drinks, and I think being slightly intoxicated was the only thing that made the show remotely bearable. It was so sad to see these "celebrities" on tv, grasping for the last straw of being in the spotlight. With the average Joe doinf reality tv it seems a little more like they want to do something and be on TV, it might seem cool to them. But with these people, they were there once and obviously couldn't hang on. All we kept saying was, "This is so sad".

Ack! Yeah, you are right about the Motley Crue.....I knew it was one of those bands with guys in makeup and big hair!

I liked that Corey Feldman called his girlfriend about 5 different times during the show, and the show was only taped over what looked the course of a day and a half. Bleh.... And when they were on the phone, she kept on asking, "What are the other girls like? Are they pretty? Do they have big boobs?" It was enough to make me wanna puke...

And how about that some of the men were the only ones who had moral objections to eating sushi off of that naked girl? That struck me as funny.....

This is a show that I don't want to watch, but I have the feeling that I'll be compelled to do so every Thursday. Yes, and miss CSI. The previews looked pretty funny......Vince Neil finding God, Hammer & CF fighting in the van, and CF crying over something. Yes, they looked like tears. Hahahahahah

This looks like the lesser of the two celebrity reality shows out there. The people on the Mole look even more lame. I mean, the guy from Dinotopia? Who cares? At least Hammer shaped my young life.....

Thumbs down

Sounds like Celebrity Mole...not worth the time.
Maybe if it were "celebrities" we cared about, it could have been interesting.

I thought the show was kind of stupid...but I sat through the entire thing. This is one reality show that I won't be getting addicted to.

I thought it was just hilarius! Yeah, who really cares about celebrities, but since I'm addicted to reality tv shows, I'll probably watch this if I have the time, along with Joe Millionaire and High School Reunion. That show is really stupid, but entertaining at times. I'm so glad that Heidie got kicked off Joe Millionaire!!!! WOoohooo that skank is gone!

How desperate does a celeb have to be to use this show as a means of getting air time? Is this something they are really considering putting on their resume?

I just saw a commercial for the new season of the Surreal Life. Is anyone else as addicted to this trash as I am? I didn't think it would get any better than MC Hammer and Emmanual Lewis sharing a bunk bed..but i can only imagine the comedic relief that tammy faye baker, vanilla ice and ron jeremy all living in the same house will provide One thing tho..isn't it a little too soon for Trishelle (of real world las vegas fame) to admit that shes washed up?
