Technical question
Once you join an NPC sorority at one school, and say a new school you transfer to doesn't have your chapter, even if you're transferring and even if you disaffiliate, you CANNOT join another NPC sorority, correct? This girl I'm trying to explain it to does *not* believe me lol

Yes you are correct. Once you've been initiated into one NPC, you can NEVER join another one.

This is in case you were wondering why I asked about akchio.

Save your breath and let her figure it out on her own when she goes to talk to the Office of Greek Life... why not tip off the office of Greek Life at her new school while you're at it?

GPhiSweetiePie, if your friend doesn't believe you and maybe doesn't believe GreekChatters. maybe she'd believe the National Panhellenic Conference. You could let her know that she could check out the NPC site
http://www.npcwomen.org
and click on "policies." One of the first things they mention under "unanimous agreements" is the policy you're talking about -- and you are absolutely right.

That is correct. And I would agree with the comment about contacting the Greek Life Office at her new school.
If she's a Gamma Phi, then she becomes an alumnae if she transfers to a school that doesn't have a chapter.
