Ladies, do you prefer short hair or long hair on guys?

Another riveting bar convo this past saturday night. The girls were split on the issue 3-3. The guys..well, we really didn't care.

Short! Military-style haircuts, but not the extreme "high and tights" favored by Marines.

Short! I've seen my bf with long hair and short, and I think short is definitely the way too go. Short hair generally always looks neat and professional on a guy whether he spends a lot of time on it or just a little. On the other hand, long hair can look pretty bad if you don't take the time to work with it each day.

It depends on the guy. Seriously, I like short hair or long hair, as long as it looks good and the guy is well groomed. As long as he's happy with his style, so am I.

Depends on the guy. On some people, long hair looks really good... on others, it just looks weird.

killarneyRose...they're not FAVORED by the Marines themselves. My father can't wait to let all of his hair grow...especially his facial hair! LOL!!!

I prefer short...BUT I love, love, love that medium length, wavy, shaggy type of style. Only a few can pull this off and when they do it looks soooo good. It's kind of that messy surfer look. Well, that's what I think of anyway.

It definitely depends on the guy, but I hate when their hair is so short they look like they're in the Hitler Youth Corps.

Shopgirl, you're absolutely right! I should have specified that its favored by THE Marines, not by the individual Marines. Well, most of 'em! (My Grandfather was a Marine and he wore his hair high and tight until he didn't have enough left for it to be high so he switched to tight all over!)

Sorry!

depends on the guy, the shape of his face, and the texture of his hair. I do NOT like long straight hair. But hair that is curly/wavy can be reaaally hot when it is a LITTLE longer.

I don't like blowouts or cornrows though. Brothas, keep it short and tight, and if you have the right shaped head, cut it all off! Nothing like a sexy bald black man!
