Watched first 30 minutes then changed the channel. Full-of-nothing as I expected.

He's actually coming off a lot better on TV than he used to. I didn't watch the whole thing, but from what I saw, he did well.

He is becoming much more comfortable with the press, too. The post-SH news conference showed him in a much more charismatic light than he has displayed probably any time during his time in office.

I have to admit that probably was one of his best interviews.

I agree that he came across really well. He seemed really sincere about his faith and his prayers. I think his wife is great. I liked the part when she talked about their early morning walks on New Year's Day. They seem to love each other very deeply which was the thing that struck me the most.

You're so right. Every time I see them together or hear one talk about the other their love and mutual respect really shines through.

She is impressive. In many ways I think she has a better public presence than he does.

He is getting much better in his TV presence, though. He was pretty grim at the beginning of his term. It is an art.

Oh that's sad. Although not surprizing.

Don't be sad DeltAlum, its the order of life. The truth is not too many people care about politics? Why should they? There's only one party.

OP,

Gotta admit, that made me grin a little.

I'm not sad, but it is too bad that, given the events of the week, more people would be interested in some...well, I almost said air-headed bimbo, but thought better of it...uh, some silly "reality" program than the President. If the week had been less dramatic...well...

I would never call anyone an air-headed bimbo in an open forum.

No matter how tempted...
