Any sisters feeling generous?

If any of you wanted to buy me presents, these would be it:

Opal Badge
P.S. I have been looking for one of these with Opals for years. It is, literally, my ultimate dream.

And, if you know your SK history well, you'll know why I want this, besides the turquoise (so, so, so rare!)
Turquoise Pi Kappa Sigma Badge

I would really love to be able to buy these and donate them to my chapter, they are such a wonderful piece of history to have!!!

You know its frustrating to see badge collectors being the ones who may win these auctions. I wish I would have thought of this when the auction started not 2 days before it ended but anyways here it is...

If we could get 10 members to each put in $30 for the auction we could bid $300 (just an example) and possibly win. I hate to see such a rare piece of our history go to some one who has no real appreciation for the meaning behind our badge. Maybe this is something we should consider in the future for rare badges that show up on auction sites.

You know, it's interesting...I was just crashing over here to let you all know about this badge! It's stunning. I sincerely hope you can rescue it.

Panhellenic love,
Jennifer

Unfortunately, the badge went for over $500! And they actually went to the same person. As much as I hate to say it, I hope they went to a collector because then I know they will be treasured and taken care off for the rarities that they are.
