Post what to expect

I am a 30 year old lady, who has wanted to be a part of Alpha Kappa Alpha since I was a child. I was married to a man who did not want me to continue my education. I divorced him then returned to college. Now in my Sophore year I would like to go "on line". My question is, at my age, living off campus and with 2 children, and working full-time should I pledge undergraduate or should I pledge "grad chapter" upon completing my degree? I am so ready for this now!!!!!

Thumbs up

first of all, congratulations on being in school and ignoring the negativity! secondly, why wouldn't you try as an undergrad? nothing about you says that you shouldn't. if you wish to become a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, go for it. check www.aka1908.com and look for our membership requirements.

Search the other posts. There are over ten thousand posts that will probably give you insight into what you seek. A great resource is www.aka1908.com. All crucial information about the organization can be found there. FYI: There is no longer a "pledge" process or going "on line", refer to it as membership intake process or MIP.
Best Wishes from one Sisterfriend to another
