What Every Greek Woman Needs...
We've all been there, and most of us would have come up short when we needed something. I thought we could help out New Members and PNMs alike by listing some of the items that every Greek woman seems to need. I'll start with:
Black dress
Black shoes
White dress
White shoes
Slips for the above (if needed)
Coffee maker filters
GreekChat membership...

COFFEE MAKER FILTERS?????
Uh....ok...clue me in...
is it just that I am not a coffee drinker here or did I miss something during new member orientation?

Ok...got the letters for two weeks...and I am almost 25 years after rush..er recruitment! How cool is that? Got the tote...well actually 4 of them.
PLANNER ...co-sign on that one!!! I became the planner queen during my collegiate days...a skill I *still* use with much success even now.

Coffee filters are an awesome thing to have around during rush since they blot the sweat from your face without taking off your makeup. Like those Clean & Clear things they make, just a lot cheaper.

I would have never thought about coffe filters doing that.!!! How did you ever come up with that idea!!!! I love it! I am definatly giong to keep that in mind for this year's recritment!
I also think so essentals for recritment would be:
-deoderant (sp?)
-chap stick/ lip gloss (one of our TLC's thought it was essential and it rubbed off on me)
-postive attitudes and of course open minds...
As a sorority girl I have found that these are essential:
-lots of shirts that support your org.
-a lettered tote bag
-tissues (for all the tears of joy you'll have and when you have to say good-bye to the seniors that leave)
-Pin Wear (nice clothes to ware your badge in)... that is all I can think of for now

Several pairs of black pants and nice evening tank tops and button down classy shirts.
Also a BUDGET that she will stick to.
Being surrounded by sisters in college, it was so easy to give in to peer pressure to go shopping and buy outfits I didn't need...................
