exemplifying the 3rd Card to the Nth Degree
Whassup Y'all. I gotta testify right now. I've been tested in the most severe way this week since I don't know when.
I've been in UPS Service Provider (driver) training. And it's as intense as all get out. We're tested on CBT's every day... and you have to make no less then 95% to pass. That's not a misprint.. 95% !!! But that really hasn't been the haze. My brother went to the hospital Monday the week of Thanksgiving for a broncial (sp) infection. On Thanksgiving, even though I was only home for a short time, I contracted it from him. It didn't really get bad till the day before training begins. Let me tell y'all something. There's nothing that feels QUitE as bad as being REALLY SICK *not the cough or headache* but flu, etc and you aren't at home or in a hospital. Under UPS policy, you can't miss a minute of training nooor be late or you're ex'd from the program.
So since Monday, I've been in class (class being the UPS facility *basically, an open hangar* during some of the worst weather of the year in Birmingham this week just perservering. Tuesday was so bad, I went to the hospital after training... got treated and prescribed antibiotics. But, I've still got to train outside. Plus.. I didn't sleep but maybe 2 hours Monday - Wednesday (and also eat no solid food). Wednesday in class, I'm weak, truly sick, coughing up flem right and left (thanks anti biotics.. for real) but due to no sleep.. just tryin' to get by.
Finally, last night, I was able to eat 1/2 a chicken drumstick, about 4 tblsp of greens and 1/2 a piece of bread.. But I had a prior commitment that I couldn't brake or find a replacement for. The AKA's had a crossing party / probate show last night for their newest 49 ladies. And so, I dj'd the party sick as a dog.
This morning, mind you, we had our official driving test. I was able to eat 2/3's of a chicken drumstick, 7 tblsp of greens and almost a whole slice of bread. But, I felt a lot stronger. Anyway y'all, YA BOY PASSED THE DRIVING TEST WITH FLYING COLORS. Afterward, the other drivers and I went to McDonald's and I eat 1/2 a McGrilled sammich.
Now.. the real haze begins. The driving exam is really the easy part. The written is the killer. It's only 2 pages, but it has to be ver batum correct. And when I say ver batum, if you don't dot an I or cross a T, the whole exam is wrong.
So, in about 7 minutes, I going into straight Lamp mode again and learn these two page poems. Y'all pray for me please.
