I have 2 20GB Seagate Barracuda IVs striped together as a RAID Level 1 40GB volume. It takes about 45 minutes.

mine takes about 6 to 8 hours because my computer is a messy piece of poop, and because basically I dont do it often enough. Usually when I do it, i start it and then go to bed and let it do it's thing all night.

Mine takes around 10-20 minutes. I have a brand new computer..so it depends on how long its been since the previous defragmentation.

I don't know, I just do it when I know I'm not going to be using the computer anytime soon.
