new crescent circle

Hi Ladies
I am completely new at this so you will have to forgive my lack of designs and such. The reason I am writing everyone is to let you know that a woman named Liz Felsen and myself have started a new group in the Baltimore Metro area. We have a lot of interest which is great but it never hurts to have more sisters! So if anyone knows a Gamma Phi in the area or anyone that they would recommend for alum initiation. I happen to know that the little birdie you are referring to is almost 6 ft tall!! We are so excited and Liz sent me the suggestions you had for the alum group! They are great suggestions! I really like the idea of the exec board handeling all of the paperwork and other international things, while the other alums are able to just enjoy all of the events! What a great idea!

I always looked at it as "I don't want to go to meetings, why would anyone else"..............

We usually had 3-4 Exec meetings for a few hours time to get done what we needed to do then the events were just fun stuff.

I think I said this to Liz, but our alumane chapter is MUCH more geographically spread out than yours probably is so. We made the Exec meetings less frequent, but longer, so we didn't have to travel the distances all the time.

I am sure you know already but we have just voted to become an alum group. Our bylaws should be reviewed shortly by IH and we should know soon enough. Everything is going so fast. You can't believe what a powerhouse Liz is. She is so great!

Yep, I heard. I think she even told me twice. LOL Did the "not sure if I told you" thing.............

It might take a while for you to hear on the approval, I think they won't vote on it until their spring meeting (the just a meeting).
