Food TV
Am I the only one addicted to this station? I love watching Emril Lagasse and Bobby Flay. I'm not a big fan of Iron chef, but I do like Food 911. My mom sent me a cook book of Emril's that he personally signed.
For those of you who watch it, what are you favorite shows?

My girlfriend watches this show 24/7.
Have ya'll ever looked at the audience members of these cooking shows? Let's just say those audience seats would have to be double-wides.

I am seriously hooked on the Food Network... I love all their commercials too! My favs are Oliver's Twist, 30 minute meals, Unwrapped, and the one where the guy uses all the science stuff to talk about cooking.

I could watch Iron Chef all day, but I get so grossed out by most of the stuff they make. Cooking shows just aren't very vegetarian friendly, LOL.

The only one I don't like is "Sara's Secrets." If your ideas were secrets before, they certainly aren't any more, are they Sara?

I spend ridiculous amounts of time watching Food Network. I love Thirty Minute Meals and $40 Dollars A Day, as well as Unwrapped. I also like Food 911. (Am I the only person who thinks Tyler Florence is cute? )
I like the one where they talk about cookin as has to do with science, but Alton Brown, the host, just irritates me. It's also an irritating thing in general where they show a host gathering in their "home" with very immaculately dressed and sophisticated group of friends. Puh-leez.

I have only seen Unwrapped and just love to watch it. One day me and boyfriend were flipping through the TV and found the station and were like oh wow they're talking about how they make the foods and then he said something to the effect if they showed Tasty Kakes since he loves them and in that episode they did, it was so funny!

Oh my God, I'm so happy to know there are others out there!! I was starting to think that my boyfriend and I were the only ones watching Food TV!!!!
But I am shocked that no one has mentioned Good Eats and its host, Alton Brown, yet!! That is the greatest TV Show EVER!! The show is so campy and goofy!! I find I learn a lot more from him too, since he's teaching more cooking concepts than recipies.
I'm also a big fan of Food 911 (okay, ANYTHING Tyler!) and I enjoy Emeril now and then, but never find myself wanting to cook what he's making.
I don't mind $40 a Day or 30 minute meals, but Rachel Ray can be annoying. If I had a kitchen that big and that well set up and well stocked, I, too, could make great meals in 30 minutes. But I have a kitchen the size of a bathroom, Rachel! And she can be WAY Overdramatic when taking about the food she eats on $40 a Day. The concepts are great though!
How did we live without food tv?!?!!?

I watch Food TV between 6 and 8 pm every day. I am sooo addicted.
Tyler Florence is seeeeeriously hottt. My mom and I are trying to come up with ways to get him to come to our house for Food 911.
I *heart* Alton Brown. He is so amusing, and his show is really informative.
I think Rachel Ray is annoying, too, but I still get sucked into watching 30 Minute Meals. Every day, I tell myself, "yeah, I should plan out my menu for the week and have a big shopping day on the weekend so that I can have dinner ready in 30 minutes during the week." But, of course, it never happens.
