SHSU Delta Zeta Research

Hi. I’m doing some research into the history of Sam Houston State University (Huntsville, Texas) and am trying to identify some of the chapters that were once on campus but have since closed. One such group was Delta Zeta. I am curious if there is anyone here that might be able to pass along the following information:

1. Date chartered.
2. Date disbanded.
3. Chapter name.
4. Location/address of house(s)

I don’t know what sort of audience I’ll get on these boards but I thought I’d at least ask.

I don't have all the info you are looking for-the chapter at Sam closed when I was a collegian-I think it was in 1989. I don't have the Greek Letter name or when it was chartered, but if I can remember when I get home I'll check...

Thank for passing along your thoughts on the subject. At this point every little bit helps.

For what it’s worth, I believe one of their residences is what is referred to as Gibbs House now, on Sorority Hill. I don’t know if they lived anywhere else or not -- but so goes trivial information.
