What are you thankful

Since it is almost Thanksgiving (and because this board is kind of dead) i thought we could all write where we are going/what we are doing for Thanksgiving and something we were thankful for. . . .

I'll start - we are heading to my inlaws to celebrate with my husband's family (parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, nieces and nephews, dogs, etc... you get the picture!!)

I'm thankful my parents are understanding of our decision to go up there for thanksgiving and spend christmas at home with them

I'm thankful that four amazing women decided to form a bond that reaches to even me today

I'm thankful for my family (immediate and extended) and can't wait to spend my first thanksgiving with my daughter.

I'm thankful that we're going to spend Thanksgiving with my BIL and his family, because we always have a blast together. I'm thankful and darned lucky that I have great in-laws that I adore, from my mother and father in law to sisters in law by marriage. They're all good folks!

I'm thankful that my mom understands that we'll not be with her this year at Thanksgiving. Heck, I'm thankful each and every day for my mom!

I'm thankful that my BIL is getting married over New Years, and that we'll all be together for the event (and that we can afford the unexpected expenses associated with it )

I'm thankful that one of my dearest friends has a healthy and gorgeous new baby girl, and that I was able to be there at her birth. I'll forever be blessed by such an honor.

I'm thankful that my kids are healthy, have good friends, ARE good friends back, and do well in school. I'm especially thankful that one rugrat is learning that doing all homework=grades he likes

I'm eternally thankful for Alpha Omicron Pi. Thankful for our founders, who celebrated *their* bonds of friendship in such an enduring way. Thankful for the lifetime sisters and friends I have gained within our sisterhood. Thankful for my sisters here locally, who understand both my strengths and weaknesses (and there are many!), and support me daily in our work on behalf of our Fraternity. Thankful for our International personnel, who do an incredible job of supporting and educating all of us.

Finally, I am thankful for GreekChat and for John. What he does to bring us GC--for free--is nothing short of amazing.

I am thankful that God watched over me and mine this year and those around us. Things could have been much worse if not for his good care.

I am thankful for my mom who rushes to me whenever I need tending. *tears here*.

I am thankful that I have a husband who appreciates me knowing that I am *very* eccentric.

I am thankful that I have enough food, a warm home, and clothes on my back.

I am thankful that I have loving family and friends and a fabulous church.

I am thankful that I have a sisterhood on whom I can call....no questions asked. I am thankful for GC and the friends that I have made both in cyber time and real time.

I am thankful for every single day that I am alive.
