surfing sisters question

Can actives be members of Surfing Sisters?
I thought we could, but I tried to join and filled out the survey and everything and have never heard back from them. It's only been about a week, but I figured I'd ask.
If anyone knows what I did wrong, help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can definitely subscribe to SS as an active collegian (you just can't be a dues paying member b/c only alums can do that...). I think it's great that you'd like to join in the fun!

Keep in mind that the VP Membership has to screen all applications to join w/HQ to confirm that the subscriber is a Delta Zeta in good standing (we don't risk having crazy people or posers on SS...only the real deal gets to post there!). Sometimes it takes a couple of days to get confirmation from HQ, but never fear! You should hear back soon!
