Question what's the difference to you?

All sororities basically strive to do the same things---build strong sisterhood, academic strength, community service/outreach, and etc. My question is, what made the blue so true to you? I'm not necessarily looking for anyone to down the other groups, but rather just point out something Zeta had that maybe the others didn't?

For me, it was the strong foundation that So Sweet Zeta has. Zeta is based on Christian values and beliefs. Zeta also has a true constitutional bond with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Zeta also has wonderful mandated service projects such as Stork's Nest (helps supply young mothers with needed items, and has parenting workshops), and many Z Hope programs. Under Z Hope, we have various lectures, and workshops that help all people in our community, including Seniors and Z Hope informs men about the dangers of Prostate Cancer.
Have a blessed one.

Now, a few non-greeks have approached me, wanting to know, "Why Zeta?" Well, Zeta is a Sorority of FIRSTS (yes, I know it sounds like a cliche, but it's true!). Don't be fooled by all the hype some of the other orgs. put out there. Sure, having famous HONORARY members is good, but the WORK is what really mattered to me. There's too many firsts to type, so check out the National Website for full information.

Secondly, there were no stereotypes associated with Zeta. I loved the fact that members I came across were of different nationalities and backgrounds, though it's traditionally an African American org! The Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood that was shown was simply outstanding! I didn't want to be associated with a sorority that discriminated against its own kind, or had any ties to such a history. Zeta was just the natural choice for me. Any more questions, feel free to ask me via pm.
