Heeeey! Another Sandy on the boards! It's funny because my nickname at work is Princess Sandy...oh well.
Up until a few months ago I hated going to meat market clubs. I preferred going to bars to have a few and sing karaoke...but now that I'm single (heh heh) I love clubbing!
We've been going to clubs even on school nights...so I can only imagine how crazy it's going to be once finals are over!
I like having fun with my friends...and that's why we go. If we meet hot guys there then it's even better! Xmas break is usually one of the rare times me and the homegirls get to see each other since everyone's home.
Of course then there's the sleeping in late to cure the occasional hangover.

i would like to go out more but my parents are anal retentive, religious people who oppose drinking (i do love them though). so i take the opportunity to work in sorority stuff, get in computer time and spend LOTS of time with my best friend at home . . . yea, and sleep. a lot of sleep . . . which is what i'm going to do now

My parents moved two years ago away from the town I grew up and went to HS in New York to Florida. Sooo needless to say I don't get to hang out with old friends much But chilling with family has its good points. This break I get to see if they notice the new piercing...oh boy!

I love it when we hve down time and thekids don't have plans.
We break out the cards and play Spades. Fo us,it's easier than Bridge. We play on vacations as well.
Anyone play PITCH? Can't remember the rules, but every Christmas the MEN would get together and play so the kids picked it up. All I can recall is Hi-Low Jick-Jack-Game!

I love spending time with my friends who went to other schools. My friends all come home and we catch up. There's also a place in Ft.Lauderdale called Riverfront where all the college kids who are home for the break go to hang out. It's fun to go there and see the people you went to HS with. It's almost like a ten year reunion. You get to see who got married, who flunked out of college, who has a baby, who gained lots of weight, who realized that they were attracted to their own sex. It's like gossip central!

I'm with ZTAngel about catching up on gossip about people I graduated with!
I like going to the local-yokel bars, doing nothing with my best friend, hanging out with my mom, running my old routes, snuggling on the couch with my boyfriend, catching up on sorority work, playing cards (esp. Spades! I cannot get Eucher), and SLEEPING!

Spending time with family, shopping, catching up on sleep.
All of my friends from HS went to LSU, so Break is the time I see them LEAST. Its actually a nice break from them.

I am in that boat too. My mom sold the family ranch/land my soph year in college, asked me if I wanted Dominick, my horse (like I was gonna keep him in the dorms) , and moved 1000 miles away to Houston. I do have a few friends from the chapter there, but it sucks, because its not "home". I never get "home" anymore. So I hang out with the family in Houston. This is the first time i actually know some people there and have plans to go out. Its still wierd tho.
I'll be here in SA most of the time working, just taking a week off to go to H-Town, and then on to Corpus to the in-laws place. Its kinda cool. 600 acres, new house, horses, 72 inch tv, Dish network, and a fully stocked fridge. Pretty much a red-neck spa. I'll be in paradise.
