Just have to brag about my little brother for a moment!
Just thought I would brag about my little brother for a moment.
His soccer team just won their first postseason victory in school history last night. My brother is only a sophomore but has been the starting goalkeeper for the Varsity team the entire season.
Here's the KC Star article about the game, he's not mentioned but I'm still super proud of him.

Since she's bragging about her brother, can I brag that my little brother will probably be playing for UCONN or Marquette next year? Mom doesn't have to pay for another college kid.

Def. tell me if your brother comes to Marquette - I'll go watch him play! I went to high school with our current goalie.

No, McPherson is too central kansas for us in the KC area.
I also think that it's like 4A, and not 5 or 6A, so we typically never played anyone that small since it wouldn't be fair.
As for my little brother, they lost yesterday in the Regional championship 4-2, so their season is done. They ended up playing the #1 seed for their region and since they were #7 they were supposed to lose. This team will probably be a lot better next year, as it's a brand new school that just opened this year, and they will only lose 3 seniors anyways. Most of the varsity team were sophomores, and the entire JV was sophomores and freshman, so one would expect that given the lack of experience they did pretty well to have a 6-12 record this year.

Had to add another "brag about the brother" post -
My brother, who is a sophomore in high school, suited up for the Varsity Football game the other day. Tonight the team was in the playoffs for State and my brother got to play! They won 49 to 0! GO MUSTANGS!
Sorry Chopper but your WILDCATS better watch out! We're ranked NUMBER ONE! YEAH BABY!
