Well (Canadian takes the podium),
I have been a fan of all things Canadian always. I'm a huge fan. I've seen them live more times than I can count. They did a special live show at Much Music here in Toronto (our version of MTV), and I was there. Had a staring contest with Jim Creegan and talked about what kinda subs we all had for dinner with Steve and Ed .
I've been a fan so long I own their original demo. Only have 5 songs on it. Two sides, same songs on both. It'll cause problems when my brother gets married and moves out cause my father bought that tape for BOTH of us a LOOOOOOOOONG time ago. It'll cause some huge fights !
I can't belive how huge they are now. Our mayor wouldn't let them play a concert at city hall (VERY OLD STORY) because of their 'offensive' name (LOL), and it was in the papers like you woudln't believe. Free publicity = unknown band getting a ton of interest, their popularity in Toronto was born. Took them 6 or so years to become popular over the border and now, well, they're not so home grown .

I just picked up Stunt and Pirate Ship at the local used CD store over the weekend. I think I may have worn out Rock Spectacle already.
No particular fave song...I like them all. Doubt I'll ever get a chance to see them in concert.

Next to DMB (of course!) bnl put on one of thest live shows you'll ever see. they really do it for the audiance. they are completely hilarious. they do 10 minute improv songs that are absoltely hilarious. I can't even explain it. you have to see them live if you like them at all.

They're pretty good. The first I had heard of them was when "One Week" was big: "Like Harrison Ford I'm getting frantic..."
They have a lot of good songs. "If I Had $1,000,000" is definitely my favorite. The only song I'm not too keen on is "Pinch Me," but that's only because the radio stations here played it about 500 times a day.

I love almost ALL their songs, which is rare for me! My favorite is If I Had A Million Dollars! My exboyfriend used to sing that song to me and it always made me happy...I guess it still does!
"If I had a million dollars...I'd be rich"

Bare Naked Ladies - makes you proud to be a Canuck . The coolest thing was when "Gordon" came out: Remember the song that's me in grade 9, well that came out when I was in Grade 9, so it was the coolest thing . I missed their concert though . They played in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago

I've loved these guys since high school (graduated 1996 - feeling old!)
favorite song is the first one I ever heard by them - "If I had a million dollars"!!!!!
My brother had told me about the group before, but I hadn't heard them yet. He's always showing me new music, so much easier now because he can just email an mp3 to me, but anyway...
the million dollar song came on the radio one day when we were driving around and I was laughing so hard I had to pull over and calm down so I wouldn't get in a wreck.
...now that's a good song...
BTW, I have now mastered the art of listening to fabulous BNL songs and driving safely at the same time!
I've seen them in concert once in Orlando. (the same wonderful brother got my tickets for my birthday one year ) One of the local radio stations had a concert with about 6 bands and they were the last one to play. A M A Z I N G! so much fun. picking macaroni out of my hair (if you've been to a concert you know what I mean about that) was a little annoying, but it was ok.

forgot to put my answer:
BNL is one of my fave. Fave song has to be: Life, In A Nuthsell. Last concert was on Dec. 30, 1999 in Nassau Colliseum. Was going to Buffalo to see the new years eve show, but was stupid enough to go to TIme Square. Just for info, if you go to www.barenaked.net, they have a lot of bootleg mp3 you can download. From the early 90s to the current tour. Check the site out.

Bumping this, because I pulled my BNL Greatest Hits CD out from the bottom of a stack of CDs in my car and started listening. I get so upbeat from this music! I love these guys.
My faves: Million Dollars (of course), Pinch Me, The Apartment, and, well, all of them!
What a great band!

LOL! I just pulled out that CD also! My BNL song is "Million Dollars." I saw them once in concert in 1998 at the HFStival. When they played "Million Dollars" and got to the part about eating Kraft dinner, the audience threw boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese on the stage! What a great show!

I can't wait for their tv special. Does anyone know when it's happening?
Light up my Room is my favorite, but I love them all so much. One of my favorite bands.
