Alpha Phi Wedding

Hey sisters:
So, I got engaged last month. I have already decided that my colors will be Silver and Bordeaux (I know. I am silly!) And, I am going to use Ivy all over the place. My flowers are going to be white and wine colored roses. Any other ideas to incorporate Alpha Phi in my wedding? It is next July.

Your bridesmaids' dresses could be bordeaux.

I've noticed lots of movie stars are carrying lillies of the valley in their bouquets. Pierce Brosnan's wife carried them at her wedding and I recently saw another one -- but I can't remember it right now. Maybe you could put some in the centerpieces.

Of course you have to make sure your Alpha Phi sisters sing to you at the reception!

Don't worry about being silly. I practically begged my boyfriend to let that be our wedding colors, and I thought he'd be up for it because he's a TKE (their colors are crimson and silver) but he thought I was a big dork.

But I'm still sneaking lillies of the valley into my bouquet!

I am definately going to have my bridesmaids wear bordeaux dresses. I think it is a great color!

Yeah it is a great color ....not just because it is A Phi color.....but because it is very pretty on formal dresses

WHEN and IF i ever get married again ( and i am not ruling anything out at all...but if you happen to know any single Doctors, attornies, engineers, etc.... rich single millionaires....not picky at all... send them my way) but wheni get married again i want to incorp a lot of A Phi ideas in my wedding.

1. the color: i am a huge burgendy ( bourdeux) color person....(my house is burgendys creams sages eggplants)

2. Lilly of the Valley..... i love those soo delicate and pretty

3. IVY....ok i tend to ivy everything up

4. my incorp of close close childhood friends and close A phi sisters as bridesmaids

5. my badge i will wear on my dress somewhere......

just a few ideas of mine.

PS...techaphi i love that cake....where did you see that.

Trust me, engineers aren't all they're cracked up to be. I go to school with about 1,700 of 'em.
