This is from another board I visit WAY too much but I thought some of you might enjoy this story. It really made me laugh my crappy monday away. Enjoy! Link here
My roommate from 2 years ago did almost the same thing. She started to drive off with the pump still in her car. Instead of yanking out the pump, it snapped back and slammed right back into the side of her car. She now has a HUGE dent in the side of her car.
My (biological) sister started to do that one day. She said this guy at the gas station was waving at her so she waved back thinking he must know her from somewhere. When he got more frantic she decided to stop and he came to her window and told her the nozzle was still in her gas tank. Thankfully she didn't get far enough away to do any damage! Ah, I'm so glad I'm the smart one in the family!

I did that once. I was cleaning my windows and I forgot that the nozzle was still in, so I drove off. The nozzle and hose just snapped back and didn't do any damage to my car.
