51 scholarships were awarded in the 2002-2003 school year: 2 continuing education, 14 graduate and 35 undergraduate scholarships-- for a total of almost $60,000! Not bad for a foundation that just turned TWENTY years old!
The Foundation is offering three NEW scholarships this year, in addition to the many that are currently offered. Scholarships are available for undergraduate, graduate study and for continuing education. Applications will be available online after Nov. 1.
Chapters and alumnae associations raised a record amount of money for the RMH and other charities this year through their fundraising efforts. A total of $197,014 was raised in 02-03, up from $111,625 in 01-03.
The Foundation has extended our already strong support for RMHC through major sponsorship of the RMHC Care Mobiles. The Care Mobiles are state-of-the-art vehicles built specifically for the delivery of pediatric care for the hundreds of thousands of children in the world without access to to medical and dental care. The Care Mobiles will be provide under-served communities around the world with primary care, diagnosis/treatment, referral and follow-up for serious conditions, health education and more. Each Care Mobile is equipped with quality facitilies and staff.
ADPi chapters and associations can help by tackling your fundraising efforts and energies for even greater results. We will channel these monies to the Foundation to fund the RMH of your choice and the Care Mobile Program. The Foundation has chosen a Care Mobile in MA to be the first Care Mobile supported by ADPi, and our name will appear on the side of this unit. Go to

Please remember for all of your philathropy efforts-- whether for RMH or another charity, donating to another GLO's pet project of choice, etc., donate your money through the Foundation. Your chapter will receive credit for this donation and Alpha Delta Pi can claim even higher success for funds contributed.
All money donated to the Foundation can be earmarked for a specific cause. The Foundation enables our members to receive academic scholarships, emergency grants to assist sisters at all levels in emergency financial situations, support of our leadership conferences and conventions, and of course, RMH and so many other charities!
