Greek Week
We're looking into introducing new events into Greek Week on our campus and I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for events they really enjoy or generate a lot of excitement?
Lists/Schedules of Greek Week events on your campuses would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Greek Week is just alot more work than most chapters want to do.
Having a Row Week is much more fun though significantly different than Greek Week, because it's Fraternity based. Do an IFC cookout on Wednesday of that week then encourage all the fraternities to have their biggest parties of the year then. Mike Jones, Nappy Roots, Project Pat, Eli Young, and a bunch of jam bands came this year.

Please be careful about putting your full name and location on a messageboard, you never know who's reading.

Thanks for your quick response, but I guess I should have clarified a few things in my original post.
First, UM-D is a commuter campus so we don't have houses, let alone a row.
Greek Week is a huge deal here, especially because we only have 8 organizations so it's really competitive.
It is a lot of work, but we are happy to do it.
We can't base our events on the fraternities. One because there are only 3 on campus in comparison to 5 sororities. Our Greek leadership Council and Student Activities Office also wouldn't be in favcr of it.
But thank you for your suggestions, I'm going to suggest implementing the BBQ =)

Strange that Sororities out number Fraterities as it is usually the other way around.
But maybe they can each make up two teams to cover the numbers?
Brothers can be Brothers, but then there is the competition fo the game!
As was asked, what do you have planned so far?
Maybe expand, volley ball, horseshoes, darts, pool, rope pull, or waht ever!
Of course BBQ is always good!
Editing to add, checked you school web site and see what you mean.
But, if there are enough students envolved then it maybe will help to expand the GLO Community!
Hey it can only help!
