Question Beta Phi Alpha badge?

I came across this on ebay. I first thought it was a Beta Sigma Phi pin, but the letter on the right is an Alpha. From what I found on Google, it might be a Beta Phi Alpha badge.

info found here:
http://people.clarkson.edu/~deezee/d...s/history1.htm

"Beta Phi Alpha was founded at the University of California- Berkeley in May of 1909 and was the first college fraternity for women on the Pacific coast. Originally called "Bid-A-Wee," the girls club was sponsored by the university to meet a very difficult housing problem. Little did their Founders dream that one day their little club was to become the mother chapter of a national organization. In 1912 the name Bid-A-Wee was changed to "Aldebaran" after the star, and in 1919Aldebaran was oficially changed to Beta Phi Alpha. Following expansion, Beta Phi Alpha was admitted to the National Panhellenic Council (NPC) in 1923 as the nineteenth member and held the chairmanship of NPC from 1935 to 1937. The merger of Beta Phi Alpha with Delta Zeta in 1941 brought two National Convention traditions."

The pin is dated 1935. Am I right? or very wrong?

Heres the pin on Ebay. The person didn't even try to ID it.

That looks like a Beta Sigma Phi pin to me...in fact, it looks very much like our full-jeweled Ritual of Jewels pins.

It could very well be dated 1935, as BSP was founded in 1931. It would be a very early version of one of our pins.

Another pin I seen today looks similar to a Beta Sigma Phi pin, and that would be Phi Kappa Sigma's Pledge Pin shown on http://www3.telus.net/tyee/greek/nic/nic.html.

Can any one verify if this is a Beta Sigma Phi pin or Beta Phi Alpha pin?

Sorry to crash. You are correct and considering it was a lousy photo, it went for a fortune. A DZ woman won it and my TX friend who is a DZ alum was one of the under bidders. Incidentally, the TX friend has one of the Alpha Sigma Delta's which a DDD woman asked about in another thread I replied to yesterday in another forum.
