More bands than you can shake a stick at

This was supposed to go in the thead "Name one band I've never heard of" but I'm an idiot If a Mod catches this please put it in the right spot!!!!! Thanks a Million!

My "social circle" of bands has since widened since I last posted here. I have heard so many great bands in the past few months I barely know where to start, but I'll try

King Thursday These guys are already rockstars, in their minds that is. The lead singer spits fire, pulls random people on stage to sing to them and embarrass the crap out of them, and tries his best to get the ladies to show their...uumm...twins. They are a awesome rockin band that plays songs like "Freak of the Week" by Marvelous 3 and "I'll be There for You" by Bon Jovi. Check them out! www.kingthursday.com

The Chris McCarty Band These guys are the greatest. I'm the street team leader for them in Mobile, AL. From Gainsville, FL they play all over the east coast, and even NYC! With an ecclectic groovy sound you are sure to love them. They are releasing their second CD "Naked" in the next few months and have a CD out now as well. Go see them ASAP! www.chrismccartyband.com

Speck THE HORNIEST BAND IN THE SOUTHEAST!!!!! Actually one of the only horny bands here, literally. These guys are so awesome, the only band in the Mobile area that has a brass section! This 7 piece band promises a fun filled show with a set list that takes most people by surprise. A few examples, The Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, 311, Ah-Ha, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, and Cake.
Oh yeah, the lead singer is a member of the Nu Mu chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon! Yea Patrick!

I could easily go on all night but if anyone is ever in this area and need to know about a band I'll be happy to tell you what I know!

kisses,
Sara
