I loved your Rush thread Juliebug, and I'm so happy you've made Alpha Delta Pi your home.

I just read your recruitment thread and even though I knew the outcome I was nervous for you & actually cheered out loud when I read you got a bid from your #1 choice- Alpha Delta Pi!

Congratulations and welcome!!! It makes me wish I would have kept a journal of some sort when I went through recruitment. Welcome to the sisterhood, Juliebug!

I've often thought the exact same thing....I only went through recruitment almost 4 years ago, but I think it would've helped me get through the week since I couldn't talk to anyone about the process since all my friends were already in sororities!

re: journals

When I went through Rush, we hadn't yet switched to the Green Book. Our rush lasted SIX WEEKS and was a lot like COB with two structured parties and a Pref night. Amazingly, I did keep a rush journal for my pledge scrapbook (yeah, I was a pledge, not a New Member), so I can see how I felt about each chapter by the day. It is priceless!!!

now, back to our program...
