Pets...
I am the proud parent of a Shih Tzu. She is so precious and I love putting all kinds of ribbons and bows in her long hair. I named her "Lady". I know it's a common name for a dog but she is my little lady . Does anyone else have any pets they simply adore?

Yes, I do! I have a six year-old Lhasa Apso and his name is Chip. My fiance and I also adopted a mixed breed from the shelter two years ago. His name is Dallas. My fiance loves the Cowboys. Yuck!
I love taking them to be groomed because they look so darn cute afterwards. They used to but ribbons on the top of their heads, but now the boys get bandanas around their necks. Also, I get catalogs from Drs. Foster and Smith. I got them dog raincoats.
I talk about my "boys" so much that one of my co-workers said she didn't know I had children. I told her I'm talking about my dogs! LOL!

I have a kitten named baby whose fur is white like snow. But is he bad!! I love him to death! But everytime I do something nice for him he proves me wrong. Last week he tore my mother's new leather jacket. She won't accept he did it because she thinks he's a darling. We spoil him so much that we bought him a collar and leash to take him out for walks with us. Can you imagine seeing us walking down the street with a cat on a leash? Think about it.

I have a year and a half old pekingese named Ling Ling. I love taking her to the groomer and having them put bows in her hair too. I think she's gorgeous, but everyone else thinks she looks like an Ewok.

LOL...great topic because I love dogs. I have an American Pit Bull Terrier (or an American Stafforshire Terrier, if that's less disturbing) named Rambler. She's a year-old brindle, and good and spoiled. When she visits my mother (which is fairly often because I travel a lot), she is really spoiled, and doesn't want to go home . People think she would be a good guard dog, that is until they come to my home: she's much more apt to bark at you then lick your hand and lead you to the stereo than she is to "guard", LOL. I have a picture of her at my office, and sometimes I come in late because "my child" wouldn't behave!

Shalom Everyone~
I have a male Betta Splenden-Anabantoid whose name is HomeAlone (male Betta's, although very colorful and beautiful, are just as territorial towards other male Bettas...hence, the reason for his name).
I talk to him and he greets me when it's time to eat!
BTW, do fish count as pets? Please say they do because that's all I have the time and patience for!
Shalom!

Hey Ladies,
This is a great topic. I just adopted a Siamese kitten two weeks ago. I named her Sasha. She is the cutest little thing! And she is hilarious. I love watching her play. She runs around my apartment like she's out in a field somewhere! LOL! I love my little poo poo Unfortunately, she came down with a little cold She's on meds and she seems to be doing better though Everyone pray for my little one!

I have a 10 month old black Cocker Spaniel. His name is Maxwell. Right now he is going through what I call "the terrible twos" He is my baby, and I talk about him all of the time. I even have a picture of him in my wallet. If anyone have any suggestions on preventing your dog from chewing on everything in sight, I am all ears.

I am glad to hear that you have a Shih Tzu and I am sure she is a beauty. WARNING: DO NOT have Lady mate with a bulldog or else you'll have a (or several) BullShihT[zu]
*LOL* I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. I've been waiting 5 years to use that line.
Anyway, may Lady live long and prosper.
God bless

I have a fat mail tuxedo cat named Tails because he likes you to rub his behind so he walks up for you to rub him backwards.
My fiance has a cat that I got for him because Tails lived with him and them I took him back so he got lonely. Her name is Clawdia because when we went to look at cats, she scratched the mess out of both of us, it was love af first sight.

Afternoon Ladies!
About a year about, I brought in a ghetto cat (thats what I call strays) cause I realized that she was pregnant and I didnt want to leave her out in the cold....... Now I have SIX CATS!! Whoa----but I love them all to death!
"Kitty Karyall" is the mommy. She's very friendly and she's not really scared of anything (of course not, she's a ghetto cat!) It took me a minute to train her not to eat out the garbage though....
"Snickers" - she's my fave! What a sweetheart!
"Snowball" - dont see her around much, she's usually hiding...
"Chewy" - this fool will eat anything (paper, plastic, rubber...)
"Sam" - he's a nice lap cat...loves to cuddle!
"Big Pun" - sometimes he gets on my nerves cause he likes to punk the rest of them out of a chair, food, toys, ....except Kitty-she dont play that! But I still love him!

Preetypoodle6, we also brought in a "ghetto cat". I think she is a tabby (that's what her picture most resembles in the book) She was about 6 weeks old about when we found her--actually she found us by following us home in July. She is SO cute. I refer to her as "My Baby". I actually have a picture of her in a frame at school (I live on-campus). But, oh, she is bad too--but she's also smart, which makes her even worse b/c we know she does it on purpose (like she'll try to kick over our beloved plant and we scold her and then she goes to do it again when we aren't looking). Like, she'll get attached to something that's new to her (a sock, napkin, plastic bag, etc.) and she'll growl and won't let it go. But I love her.
*Sorry for the long post but whenever I talk to most people about my Baby they don't seem to care
