I have a new sig~Critique sigs here
I had been planning on it anyway and then I saw that one of our GC new members in Pi Phi had kinda lifted the old one from me (it's all good though)... So here's the new one. I want an honest review so I can improve it if need be. I don't want a dorky or annoying sig.
I'm not sure I dig the "Washington and Lee" part at the bottom... it may be too much.
I may not even want the Pike part anymore... although I superheart my boyfriend and Pike so much... Do you think it's stupid when a person puts the GLO of their SO in their sig?
That said, I propose this thread as a forum for critiquing the sigs of THOSE WHO WISH TO HAVE THEIR SIGS CRITIQUED.
I may be opening up a can of worms, but hey, that's the fun part, right?

I'm personally not in favor of putting someone else's GLO on my sig. But if you do want to keep both, may I suggest to put them in a single line instead of two? Nothing is more annoying than a long, more than 5 lines of sig, since it will take forever to scroll down to read the entire thread if everyone does the same thing.
I really like the different colors you have, and readable colors, too. Pink and yellow are not so readable, and I usually skip reading posts with those colors. You don't have them (which is really good), so you're ok.
Your university/chapter ID is a good thing to have in a sig. Then other people have idea on which institution you're associated with, without asking. Isn't that the idea of signature, after all?

Ok, so I cut down my signature by A LOT! Does anyone have any critiques about this one?
BreathesGelatin~Just a quick question... What are the arrow thingies for? It kinda threw me for a second... That's all. Looks good!

The arrow is Pi Phi's symbol... So it's the arrow, in a circle, kinda deal...

The only problem with that is that a lot of GLO's use those two colors (for example, Phi Mu, DG, and DZ use pink and AGD and Chi O use shades of yellow), so people in those org's tend to use those colors in their sig.
Breathesgelatin, your new sig is good. It's not huge and obnoxious where you have to scroll through half a screen to get to the next post, which is a bonus.

Oh Duh! *puts palm on forhead* Sometimes the more obvious something is, the slower I catch on. Thanks for explaining it for me anyways!

leave the boyfriend's letters in! you have respect for them & a connection to them. Why not?
maybe take out one of the lines of small text though...
