Stressed Out
I have been so stressed out. Today was a awful day at work. The managers where I work at are so stupid, people keep quiting. They don't appreciate the people who work there. I just started going to gym yesterday and I felt good but I can only go 2 days a week. This semester I have so much homework I'm not sure how I will be able to have a social life if I have mountains and mountains of homework. I'm getting ready to start on some homework soon. I just wanted to vent. Recruitment kind of threw me off schedule so I'm playing catch up with my homework.
Is there anyone else experiencing a lot of stress this semester?

I'm not in school any more, but I'm also incredibly stressed out lately. My boyfriend and I quit our jobs and are about to move 1000 miles away and have no idea what we're going to do for jobs once we get there. We have to pack up our entire place in a week and are going to be farther away from family and friends than we've ever been.
It's stressful but also terribly exciting.

Yeah I'm stressed about finding a job still! But when I'd get really stressed in school and start hating life, I'd think about how grateful I should be to even be alive.
A few weeks ago, my mom saw this report about this family that scrapes by on just the father's low hourly wage... that the kids get free lunches because of their financial situation and how the boy would bring home a bag of chips (probably one of those little ones) and try to make it last the whole day. My mom was telling me about it and she was crying because it's so sad. She's like we take so much for granted, like he has to make that little bag of chips last the whole day and we don't even give a second thought to buying 4 huge bags of chips at once at the supermarket. My dad goes to my mom, see, you get so stressed out about your job, you have to realize that's so small, a lot of people are worse off than you.
Okay, just went off on a tangent, but it related to stressing. So when I stress out I just think to myself that things could be a whole lot worse, it usually helps me.

haha...just a little stressed out...
school and work are a given stress in my life. and then our recruitment just ended for us (took 12 beautiful girls) and on sat (our bid day) my grandma was admitted to the hospital for pain in her tummy. now she might have ovarian cancer. they are still running more tests so we dont know yet. and my dad was admitted later the same day for not feeling well. they put him in ICU for internal bleeding and almost gave him a blood transfusion because he lost a little over 4 pints of blood. they found that he had a bleeding ulcer and he is home now. he is still not feeling well though so its a little (okay maybe a lot!!) stressful to be worrying about him. he just has a gajillion drs to go to now. and i am stressed about having money for everything because i had to take off close to a week off from work for recruitment. and i want one of the new girls to be my little sssoooo bad and i wanna spoil her rotten with money that my parents might give me!! hehe!! so stress is a great thing in my life. oh how i love it!! i am not too sure how i could live without it!!
***dances a stressed dance***

just a little
along with worrying about school and trying to graduate..
So many things have happened this past month.. first my greatgrandmother passed away midaugust. She had a stroke and was struggling. We were very close.. she lived next door to us and we have watched over her all my life. This has been so hard for me bc I was living in Seattle this summer and never got a chance to see her when she was in the hospital to say goodbye..
then a week ago.. my boyfriend of fours years broke up with me over some stuff from the past that he hasnt gotten over yet (we broke up once before) and its even worse that he is living on the other side of the county.
to top it all off... i am stressed over finding a job as well..
i know that this stuff isnt nearly as bad as some people have it and not in the grand scheme of things... but it sure is upsetting..

I'm stress city right now.
I'm in school full time - 16 hours of law classes, plus homework equals to about 40 hrs/wk, plus I work 6.5 hours a week at a local law firm. And I'm getting married in May and am planning a wedding.
My grandmother, who i'm extremely close to and my only living grandparent, needs hip replacement surgery.
My mom had a pelvic ultrasound yesterday and the doctors want to do a D&C to do a biopsy to test for endometrial cancer.
In the middle of all of this, I'm fighting to lose some weight for the wedding, which isn't going to well. Did I mention that I commute an hour and back to school every day?
*sigh*

Yep stress, they kept telling me I had a heart attack at the Horse-pital. Shit, I knew it wasnt!
Finally figured out it was STRESS from the Store!
It aint fun! Whe I owned the Liquor Store, on a really bad time, I would wait untill the store was empty and stand in the Middle of it and YELL---****< ****< ****, and then go do what I needed to do! Damn what a great releif that was!
Of course I owned a free standing building, now I rent and have peeps on both sides of me!

I could have it a lot worse, but these are things causing me oodles of stress right now:
1. I'm now a senior. I have to worry about getting good grades for grad school, taking the GRE and getting a good score on that, and applying and getting accepted into a grad school that I like.
2. I'm taking a bunch of intro level classes, and this usually means a LOT of reading and homework.
3. I'm starting speech therapy this week. Because my graduating class is so small we are all taking two clients and teaching pronunciation classes at the American Language Academy. (Usually a SLP senior at BU only does one thing. We do three.) To add to this, we all have to meet with our supervisors three times a week.
4. My house is just wrapping up COB. I love going to events, but sometimes it's just stressful to have "one more thing to do."
5. My bf is still 3 hours away. He's a grad student and is doing his own research and teaching. Sometimes it's stressful to make time for one another, but we still do it!
