People see me as having everything in my life "together," as far as knowing what I want out of life and being determined to go out and get it. Wheras, I feel sometimes the exact opposite - that I have no clue what I want out of life.

My closest friends would say I am a great listener and someone they can always go to for advice, help, a shoulder etc or if they need a crazy night out I am always up for that too.

Good friends tell me they see me as an outgoing and crazy person at times, but as quiet and shy as others. They would say I don't openup to people right away and can keep my real feelings to myself to avoid confrontation.

I honestly have no idea how my friends view me. The one thing I could say is that I'm very blunt and straight-forward when it comes to voicing my opinions and advice. If people want a truly honest answer they know they can get one from me. BUT, people don't realize how strange I am. I'm very contradicting w/ my personality traits. I dunno......I'm just plain WIERD!!!!

I guess I should give my answer....

Some people say that I'm too deep, too serious, always looking way too far in to things for elusive points that most would miss, which is one reason I think tons of people come to me to talk, cause I don't normally just listen, I help them solve their problems socratically. Which I'm glad, that makes me feel pretty good about myself.

Others see me as a pretty adventurous guy, always trying a new angle on something, always doing things because the normal way of doing things bores me. This side of me is less uptight and it's more just-go-for-it Cory than the other side of me. It's a does-what-the-hell-he-wants side which is my favorite, and they see me as secure because I can go out and do things entirely by myself...most of my time is alone time and it's not because I don't have many friends, well...maybe it's because I don't concern myself too much with non-true friends, I'd say I'm pretty lucky to have 6 people I consider to be great/true friends, we don't have to see each other all the time, but if I need them, they'd shoot the sun for me

They see me as having an entirely new, interesting perspective in situations that can bring light to new ideas, and most tell me that I can be so much, if I only try a little harder

Cory

Cool

People see me differently depending upon my mood. I know people think I'm a complainer. But a lot of times, I'm just questioning the norm. I'm not a very go-with-the-flow kinda person -- I'm a perfectionist. I know I've driven group members for projects crazy with having to have everything *just* right.

I'm also seen as the social director. I'm the one bugging my friends to go out.

And like many others here, I'm the one that has it "all together." I've got a major I love, a serious, long term relationship, and career plans.

My sorority sisters always tell me I am the cheerleader of Chi Omega- that I am the one who holds all the alum together and keeps us all in contact with each other. My friends think I am the sweetest, most caring friend they have. My boss tells me I hold all my problems inside and will not let anyone know if things are going wrong in my life (hence my ulcer!). My husband's softball team thinks I am the best wife ever because I bring the beer to the games and host the pre-game cookouts at our home.

You'll have to do another post "how do YOU see yourself" because I don't see myself as any of how others see me!

A friend of mine recently told me how she saw me when I was feeling down.

She said I was totally together, frighteningly smart and stylish, funny, capable, caring, dynamic, someone who you know when you look at them there's a lot going on inside, someone you wouldn't hesitate to trust or depend on, and my favorite, a great writer.

I was floored. I had no idea that was how she saw me.

Cool

For me it depends on who you ask.... My friends that I have known forever will tell you that I'm a hard worker, focused, goal oriented, smart, sweet, funny, outgoing, etc. Pretty much your typical well rounded friendly guy who wants the best out of life.
However, I have noticed from other people who don't know me as well, and who make their opinion on an outward appearance, will be more harsh. I have been described as a snob, spoiled, vain, rude, and stuck up.
Personally I think the real me is a combo of the two.... Inside where it really counts I am exactly what my long-time friends would say, but aspects of what others have said have some truth.

Hmmmm. I guess it would depend on which group of friends you asked, all see different sides. But i guess they would all agree on the following traits:
--I'm Blunt, I'm not going to kiss your butt to get you like to like me, I call it like I see it...you either like me or not, but i think its a respectable trait.
--I'm thoughtful and loyal, If your my friend I will go to the ends of the earth for you, I will stand up for you to no end, and I will do whatever it takes to even out the worst disagreement.
-I'm "Fiesty" (so I've been told). If I have a legitimate opinion on something, I'm up for a good debate about it, and I argue my position well.
--I'm goal oriented, though I may not exactly know what I want to do when i grad I def. have idea's and I just need to make a choice.
--I'm the energetic one, I have Peter Pan syndrome and some people think I am immature, but It's actually just alot of energy (caffeine), at the same time b/c i am so outgoing if I am being quiet people think I am a snob. Not true, you just have to get to know me.
--I have a great sense of humor, but you have to be able to appreciate it, I have a very dry sense of humor, so some people think I am being serious when i deadpan some sarcastic remark. I'm always saying, It was just a Joke! to people who don't get it.
--I'm the life of the party when I'm "on", I'm always the one with all the drama and stories, I have a story for EVERYTHING. I'm very spontaneous, I will do just about anything (its the gemini in me)
Oh yeah, and I love to talk, I can talk to almost anyone about almost anything!

My friends know that I am the one to call when they are down or stressed out. I don't mean to be, but I have a tendency to be really random, and silly. I just have this habit of saying or thinking the most off the wall things, although they make perfect sense to me. I'm always making up little sayings, and I have a habit of saying what I'm thinking out loud and putting my foot in my mouth. I'm also seen as way too hyper, and can get too carried away with Intramurals !! People who are close to me know how passionate I am about my friends and things that are really close to me, like DZ!!!

One of my friends told me a few months ago that I have "the most game out of any of our friends"-- that I can "carry a conversation with anyone" and can go up to any guy and just start dancing with him.

I know my sisters think I'm trendy-- we had superlatives and they voted me "best dressed"-- sisters have said they have never seen me wear an outfit more than 3 times (which is untrue), they always want to borrow my clothes and come to me for fashion advice before going out-- my sisters also think I have all these guys. They also think I'm probably more prissy than I really am. They think I'm not athletic just because I don't participate in the intramurals or Homecoming athletics-- it's not that I'm not athletic, I played basketball and softball and ran track and cross country and was a cheerleader at one time in my life, but they don't see that side of me-- I'd just rather cheer them on during events instead.

I know guys and my guy friends think I'm "trouble." They're like you know so many guys, they think I've got a new guy every week (untrue). They think I'm a fun, sweet girl.

All of my friends would agree that they see me being successful in the future because of all the internships and jobs I've had. No matter what group of friends it was, everyone told me as graduation neared that I'd get a job easily because I have such a great resume... no job yet though! They also think I'm caring, friendly, sweet, loud when I want to be, and more reserved as well. And all would agree that I'm fashionable.

One guy I know, who's a basketball player at my school, was like "I know you have money, I see the way you dress at the bars."

I know some of my mom's friends think I'm spoiled (which is so untrue-- if I was getting some of the things some of my friends get, then yeah I'd be spoiled).
