Spring Break in Vegas
A couple sisters and I are having our last chance for Spring break this year (we're seniors, yea!) and we want to come down to Vegas. Does anyone have suggestions or super affordable places to stay (and by that I mean clean, not too scary, close-ish to the strip, and that's pretty much our standards.. hey, we're doing this on a budget!)
I wanted to try to stay with the chapter down there, but they don't have houses. Also, suggestions of things to do would be great too!!!
And remember, Students on a budget.. if it's cheaper to drive down for 15 hours than flying, we will!

We definately have to get together. I know there are 3 of us Theta eta's on GC. We would love to meet you guys. When's your spring break? Prices for hotels are cheaper during the week. So maybe you can come Monday thru Friday. One of the cheapest hotels ont he strip is the excalibur, it's quirky (a giant castle) but cheap and right across from the MGM(studio54) and NY, NY (coyote ugly). The excalibur is also connected to the Luxor and the Mandalay Bay. The other cheap place to stay just off of the strip is the motel 6 on Tropicana (thought I'd list the street so you can search for the right motel 6) it's within walking distance to the strip isn't dirty and has a carrows next door. I think you can probably flyinto Vegas pretty cheap there are always deals. If you need someone to pick you up and take you to the airport let me or sigkapqueen know we can definately help out. LISK

Ok, Change of plans! Vegas was too expensive, so now, a couple of us are going to go to Montana and stay with a sister for spring break instead. Much cheaper, some skiing to be had and still, tons of fun cause of the sisters. Viva Montana!
Oh, and if you were wondering where in Montana, it's Whitefish. Yup, I have no idea where that is either, but that's ok. It's 6 hours from Pullman, and I'm fine with that.

Can I just say, first of all, I LOVE MONTANA!
It was a great time. A sister (from Montana) and I left the Friday of Spring Break, and we headed to Missoula. When we got there we stayed with some friends that she does fire fighting in the summer (In montana, and man, these gals were awsome!) They took us out to the Missoula bars and what a night! 3-4 bars, and tons of friendly people, lots of booze, and a damn good time all around.
We had to drive to Whitefish the next day, and we were recovering from the night before all day long. (But it was worth it) She showed me all around town, and on the way up, we got to see some bison on an Indian reservation.
The whole Big Sky thing is absolutely true. Everything just looks so big there. I am going back soon, I think. I loved it there and the people were just so friendly.
So if any of ya'll wanna come up here to Pullman, we'll road-trip it out to the Montana Lands!
