pictures!

hey girls,

i am working on something special for extension committee, and i need pictures!!! specifically pictures that illustrate our core values - i.e. inclusiveness, lifelong learning, and leadership through service.

also, any other cute ones of people wearing letters, bid days, PHILANTHROPY, rush things.... would be awesome.

you'd be helping me (and therefore helping national!) a whole whole lot if you could just pass those on!!!

I will send you lots. I update the webpage for my chapter, so I have plenty of pictures!!

edit: I will send an email out to my chapter to see if they have any!

Check out our webpage www.csudh.edu/pss for pictures and let me know which ones you like. That way I can send them to you. The Iota Gamma chapter would be a great one to use group pictures of for inclusiveness as we are a very mixed bunch with sisters from 18 up to 39, undergraduate and graduate students, and we are largely hispanic, with white, black, and asian mixed in to the group.

i love the diversity
i wish our chapter would try and recruit minorities
but really, it's all up to me to bring them in

PhiSig warner check out our website too... www.welcome.to/phisigmasigma Delta Gamma is a very diverse chapter... I think it has something to do with California being a very diverse state so we have more diversity on campus to begin with but we have me who's black and white, another girl who part african american, two Asian women, 4 latin women, with a chapter of 25 that's almost half minority !

hey girls

thank you so so much for your replies (especially FAU Nikki for sending me so many great pics!!!).

i've checked out all the websites, and it actually turns out that I can snag them right from the web - that whole right-click-save-as thing. the thing i am making looks REALLY good (i think - i am actually on the phone with Sandy G AS WE SPEAK to discuss it...eeeee!). I wish i could send it but the stupid thing is huge!

I LOVE IT!!! those pics are soo cute!
I have to say that I HATE when people on my campus ask me why I joined a white sorority . It's like, lets forget that fact that that Phi Sig does things for the campus and community on a whole, and not just certain groups. I get sooooooo peeved.
I really feel like asking, "Why did you decide to come to a perdominantly Jewish school?" And all the orgnizations claiming to be multicultural are doing a great thing, but I feel that if any one should have that title it should be us.
HELLO, the first non-sectarian organization... we opened our hearts to women from different backgrounds before any other org even thought of it. So why on earth is XYZ sorority with all asian women in both of their only chapters, founded in 1990 multicultural and diverese, and Phi Sig is just bunch of white girls??? Somebdy, help me out here..OKay I got really heated for a second.. needed to vent, but I'm back.. just had to get that off of my chest.
