WILL DESTINY'S CHILD PLEASE MAKE UP THEIR MIND
Okay, at first they were looking for brothas to pay their bills i.e "Bills, Bills, Bills", Now they are on some "Independent Women" crap. That's the title of their new song for the Charlie's Angels Movie Soundtrack. They previewed their video on Mtv's Making the Video. If you don't know, it's a show that shows what goes into making videos. They follow groups through the whole process of making a particular video.I also heard that that would be the title of their next album coming early winter. But I pose this question. What do women really want? I mean I know women who hold their own but have a man who does do little things for them. But what about women at extreme ends. Like I know girls who are totally out for taking guys for all they can. On the other hand I know girls who are totally independent and wouldn't let a man do a thing for them. Just trying to get a woman's perspective. And Destiny's Child needs to make up their teenage minds! They must be Schizophrenic or something with a touch of Dissociative Identity Disorder.

LOL Nupe4Life . In Bills, Bills, Bills, they were asking the guy to pay the bills that he ran up! I think that's fair. Don't you?
As far as what women really want I know some that will only be with a man that drives a certain kind of car, has a certain kind of job, etc. I know many more women that just want a good man. I personally have a hard time taking anything from men. I don't want to be made to feel like I owe him something later on down the line. But then again, I don't even like to accept help from my parents. I guess it's the Leo in me; we tend to be overly independent.

NUPE4LIFe you read my mind!!! I was IM-ing with my sister when that was on MTV last night and I said the exact same thing to her!! Great minds think alike. I Mean they go from "Can you pay my bills...if you did then maybe we can chill..the club is full of ballers and their pockets full grown" and did a 360 to "I buy my own clothes and I pay my own bills...". Teenage gold diggers. I will address your question later.

I think Destiny's child will sing or say anything to sell a record. When you really get down to it they NEVER have anything to say all they have are catchy (sp?)tunes and beats. I think Midwestdiva is right. The bills song was about him paying the bills he made using her cards etc. I say shame on her for being a straight up fool! Why would you let anyone do that to you? But here they are now telling folks to leave their man or woman home because the club will be filled with other men and women. Yeah, that's a good message to send!

Hello Ladies of AKA,
Nupe4Life- Destiny's Child is supposed to perform at the Grambling-PV State Fair Classic in Dallas on September 30th. I would like to go, just to see which "line-up" they'll use.
It was said on the radio, that Beyonce' is putting her solo album on hold to record another D.C. album.
Hmmm..... Beyonce's solo album? I thought that's what it was all along!

Sorry I am new to this, but i just had to reply. Unfortunately I too witnessed the making of the video. Is it just me or is that new girl just there does she even sing. If anyone has ever seen the video, only Beyonce and Kelly sing in the song. I am just curious if this child can even sing. Also it is funny how someone mentioned Beyonce doing a solo album because just a day ago one of the local djs in my city said the group might as well call themselves Beyonce.

That's hilarious, c&c1913, because they will be here, in Jackson, MS, on the 26th for a live concert at the Smith-Will Stadium. They had originally been scheduled in August, but when Farah left, they changed the date to buy time to look for a new member. Now that they've decided to leave it as three (how weak), they are now back on the calendar. The place where they were gonna hold the show was sold out, so they moved it to the stadium. The White folks here are going crazy buying tickets. One White girl told me that Destiny's Child hair doesn't look like OUR hair. LOLOLOLOLOL!!! Oh, brother.

Michelle, you mean, casualty08? Yeah, believe it or not, she can sing. I heard her break out a little acapella in the limo on another MTV road special as the other ladies joined in with her. She sounds exactly like them. I guess that's the idea, eh?

I disagree, I think she can't sing. Their harmony was totally off in the limo. That other girl who left (name escapes me) at least had the decency NOT to sing along with them. The only true harmony they had was during the lillte back stage segment before they went onstage, when they were doing scales. And whats up with all the lip syncing??
BTW: I heard a rumor that Beyonce's mother is named Destiny. If its true...hmmm....

Yeah they're gonna stick with three. I read online that Beyonce said that the next album would include lead vocals from all three. If you want to read more about them and other acts go to www.aka.com. They have different links for hip-hop, soul, pop, rock etc. Peace

LOL! Hello all!! I am a new member and I wanted to say that I don't know how I found this site but I am glad I did because you provide interests like myself with a positive atmosphere to ask questions, or to even just chat about whatever on everyone's mind.
C&c1913: LOL. I was thinking the same thing. My friend and I call the grouo "Beyonce and Friends".

Hey everyone,
I haven't been on here in a while. But I just wanted to comment on these little girls. I think they need some serious help! They are quite big headed to begin with. They have the Diva Syndrome, BIG time. I mean, yes I think Beyonce has a nice voice. I do enjoy their music--beat wise. But yeah, what is up w/ the Independent Woman thing? Are they trying to say that they are growing up? If that's what they are trying to say, uh, they got a long way to go! I agree with the person that said they are simply putting out stuff that people will dance to, buy, etc. It's all about catering to the public for them. It's hard for me to really not like them b/c I enjoy their music. I just wish they weren't so trifling! All these switching members, etc...that's just crazy! I guess that's the biz for ya! But they need to just get it together.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Beyonce's mom's name is Tina Knowles. I could be wrong though, but I think that's it.
