80's party music: lots of 'greatest hits' album compilations abound. Some good, some suck.

You might wanna check the website www.imissthe80s.com for other ideas.

We just had an 80's date dash and the key thing is lots of colored lights...the cheeziest music you can find like Sir Mix A Lot, Vanilla Ice...Madonna...keep it all mixed up...End the night with "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!"

If you have digital TV and have Music Choice, the 80's channel is the bomb.

It is more of a real snapshot of all 80's music - a lot of compilations just go for the easy songs that everyone is sick of.

Soundtracks that actually came out then are a lot better than most of the compilations. Try Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Valley Girl and The Last American Virgin.
