Thanks ladies! I've been so busy, I didn't even realize labor day was upon us. God, hasn't the year just flew by??? Well, I have no plans...I'll probably go to the Labor day parade on Eastern parkway but I really don't feel like being groped by drunken' men singing "nani whine down so, nani whine down so...nani WHIIIINE" OR
men that firmly insist that you dance with them while Calypso music blares in your ear!
Those of you who have ever been to this parade KNOW what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Hey ladies,

While everyone is enjoying a relaxing Labor Day, I will be moving into a new apartment. I started moving on Thursday, but the apartment won't be ready until Monday afternoon. Until then I'm at my family's house trying to relax...in between washing dishes and washing dirty clothes. I'm going to try to go down to the African Festival of the Arts (in Chicago) sometime this weekend...if I can muster up the energy. If anyone else is in town, make the trek down to Washington Park for the Festival. With all of the vendors, live entertainment, and great FOOD, I know it will be worth your while. Everyone have a great Labor Day weekend. At least next year I'll be able to relax...I hope.
