Songs Stuck in Your head
Well I think the subject title explains itself, but.......
Do you have any songs stuck in your head now, or every time you hear a certain song does it get stuck for hours.
For some reason I am on a Metallica kick so its been "Sanitarium", "One" and "Fade to Black", many times getting blurred together into one sad depressing song.

Right now I've got Rufio's One Slowdance becuz in times of stress I like to think of a time where I felt really happy. That moment I remember was from the Phi Delt formal held at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. I recall the moments I shared with my really cute date.

The Jets were on the Muzak at work today. I haven't been able to get them out of my head. That takes me way way way back, to elementary school.

No kidding! If it was the Jets, it must've been "You Got It All" or "Make It Real"...I could be wrong though.
Right now I have that stupid song from Even Stevens in my head. The one from the musical episode:
"We went to the moon...in....1969...not 1968 but one year later...."
Grrrr...that's what I get for watching the marathon yesterday.

'Aw Naw' by Nappy Roots
They played that at 2 different bars this weekend. Now, I'm walking around singing 'Them country boys with them big fat wheels. . .'

You don't know about songs stuck in your head until you take a long car trip with your kids and have to listen to their tapes/CDs the whole time. Its a form of torture -- the songs work their way into the creases in your brain, and one always digs deeper than the others. Finally, two days later you'll have exorcised the song, only your lovely spouse to say "Oh, I finally got *&%$#@ out of my head," and BAM! It's magically re-embeded in both of you.

The songs from the show I was directing used to haunt me. As the show got closer and i started to panic more, I would literally wake up in the middle of the night and with songs from Godspell and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in my head playing so loud that I couldn't fall back asleep. So I would lay there panicking that the show would suck.
But it didn't. It was absolutely perfect, and people are still calling me to tell me how great it was

I love this song! I downloaded it and it said it was Simple Plan, but obviously not.

I always get show tunes stuck in my head...esp. from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. There was a question about Jacob and Joseph on my Theology exam the other day and I went crazy...
