Do your hip-huggers give you a tingly feeling?
Hip Huggers May Be Hazardous To Your Health
Expert: Pants May Put Too Much Pressure On Nerve
POSTED: 11:17 a.m. CDT August 11, 2003
UPDATED: 11:27 a.m. CDT August 11, 2003
Hip-hugger pants, favored by many young women, could lead to serious health problems, according to a publiation of the Canadian Medical Association.
A physician reported in a journal that some of his patients have experienced tingling or numbness in their thighs.
All the doctor's patients were overweight, according to the report, and had worn hip huggers for months.
Dr. Carol Lee Koski, a neuromuscular specialist, said hip huggers may put too much pressure on a major nerve. For older women, the resulting nerve damage can be permanent, Koski said, but for younger women, the nerve usually regenerates in about a month.

Key word here ladies, is overweight.
Y'all can see my pic, i'm no abercrombie model, so i dont' strut around in skin tight ribbed shirts.
some girls unfortunatley are not built to wear those things. just as i will never be a size 32.

People need to wear properly fitting clothes and shoes or there can be problems.

I like hip-huggers and I have never experienced a problem.
I definitly believe it's because some girls like to wear pants so tight, they might as well forget wearing pants and have them painted on.

Hell, the camel toe might just be the post of the WEEK!
(And I remember a similar story about hip hugger pants that came out sometime late last year. It didn't mention that the patients were overweight - apparently it has to do with the fact that the waistband of the pants comes into contact with a nerve that lies alongside the pelvic bone - where most hip huggers hit. So if your pants are tight, it rubs against that nerve, and voila, tingly feeling.)
I might be packing a little more padding, but my low-rise jeans look DAYUM good.

Just a tip to these people who want to wear hip huggers, but can't see their hipbones - buy your pants a size up. No one will see the tag (or your overhang)
