Talking Alpha Gam experience in Ireland

Hey ladies,

sorry I haven't been on here in FOREVER, but I just wanted to share with you the Alpha Gam connection I had here in Dublin. I'm studying abroad this summer (actually I come back to Michigan on Friday!). and of course I brought my letters tote bag because it never leaves my side! So one night I was hanging out with people in my program, and one of the guys says to me, "You're an Alpha Gam?! That's so cool because my mom is an Alpha Gam! I know that I like you already because I respect my mom so much and she has done so much for Alpha Gam!" So that totally made my day! Apparently his mom is super involved with a chapter in Kentucky, not sure which, but I just wanted to let you all know! Hope you're all enjoying your summer! And to my AB's - I can't wait to see you in just 3 weeks! Giddy up recruitment!

liep, tracy

Yea!!

That's terrific! It's wonderful when alumnae show greek spirit after they graduate and esp. when they have children....that Greek life isn't something you stop doing and sharing when you graduate!

That is awesome to be able to go over seas and end up meeting someone from another state who respects us AGD's, it just shows that our sorority has been doing great things all over. I hope you've had fun in Ireland, it's a hard place to leave after visiting. I went there three years ago and I'm still trying to figure out how to go back, but I'm getting there. I hope you took a lot of pictures to bring to RTS.
