Kwestion...

A homegirl of mine is trying to get down with y'all, however she is at a school that doesn't have any AKA's on the yard. She said she contacted someone from the local grad chapter and they were saying that they would have to create a chapter at her school in order for her to be a member at that school, because she couldn't become a member at a school other than the one she is attending. Does anyone know how long that takes? Just curious... I was thinking that could take months if not years, but I didn't tell her that though, I didn't want her to be dissappointed.

Why isn't your homegirl the one up in here asking the questions?

Either way, the P.O.W. applies to ALL, male and female alike. The best advice that I can offer is that she got all the answers that she needed when she spoke to the local grad chapter. Those are the people that she needs to stay in constant contact with, since they are the ONLY people that can help her current situation.

One other thing-- So what if it takes "months or years." Isn't it worth waiting for if she really wants it? Just wondering....

Why would we tell you how long it takes? If a dude came up to you on your campus and said, "Hey, I'm trying to be down with the Nupes. How long will the process take," how would you respond?

EDIT: I was being a smart @$$. Just because I'm having a bad day doesn't mean I have to be mean and nasty to anyone else. I removed the snide remark. All by myself. No one had to tell me. I'm growing.
